M.C. joined MehaffyWeber, P.C. upon graduation from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1982. He is an accomplished trial lawyer having recently been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers. M.C. has tried to verdict over forty cases in the last nine years with the vast majority resulting in verdicts favoring his clients. The cases have included toxic tort litigation, products liability, premises liability, premises security, commercial litigation and employment discrimination. Many of these trials have been in the courts of Jefferson County, Texas. M.C. became a shareholder in 1988 and has served on the firm's Management and Compensation Committees.

M. C. received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with honors in 1979 and received his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law with honors in 1982. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in that same year. He licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1982 and is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law.

M.C. is active in Three Rivers Council Boy Scouts of America on the Board of Directors, (2000 to present) and is an Eagle Scout

Memberships and Honors
M.C. is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and an Advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is also an active member of the International Association of Defense Counsel as well as the Texas Association of Defense Counsel where he served on the Board of Directors for a number of years. M.C. currently serves on the Texas Tech University School of Law Alumni Foundation, Board of Directors.
