Michelle McPherson joined MehaffyWeber in 2006 after her graduation from South Texas College of Law. Michelle has practiced in a wide range of civil litigation, but primarily defends products liability, premise liability, and personal injury suits, with a concentration in toxic tort litigation and general civil litigation. Michelle is licensed to practice law in Texas.

Education
Michelle graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice in 2002. She received her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 2006. While at South Texas, she received numerous scholarships from the law school and various other organizations. She was on the Dean's List and received several "highest grade in class" certificates in Legal Research & Writing.
Activities
Michelle actively voluteers for several programs with the Jefferson County Bar Association. She has also been an Adjunct Professor at Lamar State College-Port Arthur for the Business Computer Information Systems from 2006 - present, where she has taught Intro to Paralegalism, Business Law and Civil Litigation. Michelle also represented clients for the South Texas School of Law Legal Clinic in divorce and guardianship cases.

Michelle is a member of the Texas State Bar Association, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, the American Bar Association, the Jefferson County Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
