Molly Kennedy Moore is an associate in the firm's Beaumont office.  Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, Molly attended SMU for her undergraduate work and earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.

Education
Molly graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelors degree in International Studies in 2000. As part of her undergraduate work, Molly spent a semester studying abroad at the Jose Ortega y Gasset Fundacion in Madrid, Spain.  She also earned minors in Spanish, Latin American Studies, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.  She received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2003.  While at the University of Houston, Molly served as alumni editor on the Houston Journal of International Law and was the recipient of the Leona Mixon scholarship.  She also worked in the Immigration Clinic and argued an asylum case to a favorable holding.  Additionally, She has completed 40 hours of basic training for mediators at the University of Houston Law Center and has served as a mediator in 50 mediations in small claims courts in Harris County.

Activities
Molly is dedicated to community service.  She has served on the Shorkey Center (a school for special needs children) Board of Directors since 2005 and currently sits as Vice-President and chairs the fundraising committee.  She also serves as President to the Jefferson County Bar Young Lawyers Association and chairs its community service and Teen Court committees.  Molly accepts pro bono appointments from the local Bar Association and is a regular volunteer for Beaumont Teen Court.  She also serves as Secretary to the Jefferson County Pro Bono Board of Directors, and serves on the Jefferson County Bar Association Board of Directors.  Additionally, she serves on the Beaumont Enterprise Reader's Advisory Panel and Jefferson Theatre Preservation Committee

Molly is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Jefferson County Bar Associations and Jefferson County Bar Association Young Lawyers.

From 2007 to 2010, Molly was named a Texas Rising Star in Texas Monthly Magazine.
