Nikkee Espree joined MehaffyWeber in March of 1998 and became a shareholder in 2005. During her tenure with the firm, Nikkee has participated in and spearheaded a number of initiatives focused on community and professional enhancement including certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt. In addition to her normal practice, Nikkee currently provides legal counseling and services through local Pro Bono, community and mentoring programs.Areas of Concentration

Nikkee received her B.B.A. with a concentration in Real Estate in 1994 from The University of Texas in Arlington and received her law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1997.Activities
Nikkee serves as Board President of the Southeast Texas Family Resource Center. She has also served as a Board Advisor to One Church One Child, a non-profit adoption facilitation program. She assists with the Teen Court Program and conducts seminars at local schools through the Jefferson County Bar Auxiliary. She is also actively involved in a local church where she serves in the Youth Ministry, the Education Committee, and in an advisory capacity to the church building committee.Memberships and Honors
In 2007, Nikkee was selected as the Outstanding Young Lawyer of Jefferson County. Nikkee also received the Volunteer Award from DuPont Minority Counsel Conference. While at South Texas College of Law, Nikkee participated in moot court competitions and was named Best Oralist. Nikkee was a member of the Best Team in the Leroy Jeffers and Spurgeon Bell Moot Court competitions.Nikkee is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the Jefferson County Bar Association and the Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association. She has served as a Board Director and Newsletter Editor of the JCYLA. She is also an active member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute.
Nikkee was named as a "Rising Star" in 2006 and 2007 and was featured in Texas Monthly magazine.
