Roger is a shareholder at MehaffyWeber where he has practiced since 1973 following four years of active duty in United States Navy JAG Corp. His practice areas include personal injury, product liability, construction and business litigation where he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants as lead counsel in more than 100 civil cases tried to a jury verdict. Roger is a 1962 graduate of Marquette University and a 1969 graduate of the University of Iowa. Roger is a 1966 graduate of Marquette University, School of Business Administration with Honors. In 1969, he graduated with Distinction from The University of Iowa Law School where he was a member of The Iowa Law Review. Roger is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.Activities
Roger is active in Rotary International. He was Governor of District 5910 in 2008-2009 and has served as an Assistant District Governor and as a chair of several committees. He is a member of the 300 member Beaumont Rotary Club, served as its President in 2001-2002 and is multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a Level II Rotary Request Society Member.Memberships and Honors
Roger has been active in the State Bar of Texas and has served on the District 3A Grievance Committee and the Rules of Court Committee. Roger is an Advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) - Houston Chapter. Roger is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
