Trey Sandoval joined MehaffyWeber as an associate in 2005. He held professional counselor licensure until 2005. Prior to joining the firm, he was an intern for The Honorable Patrick Sebesta in the 239th Judicial District Court, in Brazoria County, Texas. Trey also served as a congressional intern for former United States Congressman Bill Richardson.

Education
Trey graduated from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Christianity in 1997 and received his Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from The University of Houston Clear Lake in 2000. He received his J. D. from South Texas College of Law in December of 2004.Activities and Honors
While at South Texas, Trey was a member of Phi Delta Phi, the Board of Advocates, was a 2004 Phillip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition Regional Finalist and was the 2004 Gallagher, Lewis, Downey & Kim Intramural Mock Trial Competition Champion. He also received the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts II, Federal Income Tax, and Civil Trial Advocacy.Texas Monthly magazine named Trey a "Rising Star" in 2007-2010.
