Maryalyce Cox and Susan Hardie Jacks named 2006 Shareholders 

Maryalyce Cox and Susan Hardin Jacks, both attorneys based in the firm's Houston office, were named 2006 Shareholders.

Maryalyce W. Cox, was licensed to practice law in Texas and admitted to the Texas Bar in 1999.  She received a B.A. from Louisiana Scholars College at Northwestern State University in Interdisciplinary Studies, magna cum laude, in 1995 and a J.D. from the University of Houston, magna cum laude, in 1999.   Maryalyce is co-founder of the firm's Sports and Entertainment Law Section.  She is a Registered Athlete Agent, representing athletes in professional and minor league sports.  She also specializes in civil litigation defense, with an emphasis on products liability, premise liability and environmental cases.

Susan Hardie Jacks was graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman's College with an A.B., cum laude, and received her J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1983.  A specialist in business bankruptcy, she is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  She joined MehaffyWeber in 2004 in the firm's Houston office.  She is licensed to practice in Texas, Virginia and Colorado.  Her practice areas include both business bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
