Michele Smith Annual Meeting Program Chair for the TADC

Michele Smith is Annual Meeting Program Chair for the Texas Association of Defense Counsel for 2007. Michele joined MehaffyWeber in 1993and has more than 14 years of diverse jury trial experience. She represents clients in general civil litigation with a concentration in complex mass tort litigation and products liability. She has handled matters in state and federal court involving products and premise liability, nursing home litigation and pharmaceutical defense. She has also coordinated state-wide litigation for several national clients.

She is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. As an active trial attorney, she is involved in several professional organizations, including the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. She has tried to verdict more than twenty cases and has been a shareholder with the firm since 1999.
