Patricia Chamblin - President of the Jefferson County Bar Association for 2007
Patricia Chamblin has been elected President of the Jefferson County Bar Association. She began practicing at MehaffyWeber in 1978 after her graduation from The University of Texas School of Law and became a Shareholder in the firm in 1982. Pat has been board certified in personal injury trial law since 1985.
Pat is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Texas Bar Foundation. She was named Outstanding Young Lawyer for Jefferson County in 1990. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association. She is a member of the Texas Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute. She has served on the Board of the Jefferson County Bar Association, as a member of the District 3A Grievance Committee, as board member and officer of the Mediation Center of Southeast Texas, and as Director at Large of the TADC.
