Roger McCabe Governor-Elect of Rotary District 5910 in 2008
Roger McCabe, active in Rotary International, is Governor-Elect of District 5910 and has served as an Assistant District Governor and as a chair of several committees. District 5910 is composed of 42 clubs in Southeast Texas. From 1969 to 1973, Roger S. McCabe was an Officer in the Navy JAG Corps where he tried hundreds of cases involving military crimes as well as common law offenses. In 1973, he joined the law firm of MehaffyWeber, P.C. and became a shareholder in 1977.
Roger became Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the State Bar of Texas in the inaugural class of 1978 and remains so certified. He has served on the District 3A Grievance Committee and the Rules of Court Committee of the State Bar of Texas. He is an Advocate level member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a Fellow of the Texas Bar Association and has been named a Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly magazine.
