Michele Smith joined MehaffyWeber in 1993 and has more than 14 years of diverse jury trial experience. She represents clients in general civil litigation, with a concentration in complex mass tort litigation and products liability. She has handled matters in state and federal court involving products and premise liability, nursing home litigation and pharmaceutical defense. She has also coordinated state-wide litigation for several national clients. Michele is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. As an active trial attorney, she is involved in several professional organizations, including the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. She has tried to verdict more than twenty cases and has been a shareholder with the firm since 1999.
Molly Moore joined MehaffyWeber as an associate in 2003 in the firm's Beaumont office. She has completed 40 hours of basic training for mediators at the University of Houston Law Center and has served as a mediator in 50 mediations in small claims courts in Harris County. She is dedicated to community service. She has served on the Shorkey Center Board of Directors since 2005 and currently sits as Vice President and chairs the fundraising committee. Her practice areas include toxic tort litigation, premises liability, products liability and civil litigation.
