Roger McCabe became Governor of Rotary District 5910 on July 1, 2008 after having served from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008, as District Governor-Elect. Rotary District 5910 encompasses East Texas from Palestine to Galveston and includes 42 clubs with membership of 2,600 Rotarians. Roger's Installation Ceremony was held June 7, 2008 at the Beaumont Country Club. He has been a member of the Beaumont Rotary Club since 1982, serving as President of that Club in 2001-2002, as well as in numerous other capacities. Roger is a 1966 graduate of Marquette University and a 1969 graduate of the University of Iowa's Law School. From 1969 to 1973, he served as an Officer in the Navy JAG Corps and joined the Law Firm of MehaffyWeber, P. C. in 1973 where he became a shareholder in 1977. Roger is a member of many legal associations including an Advocate Level Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Houston Chapter.
