Bob Black Receives Certificate of Merit from the State Bar of Texas

Bob Black will receive the Certificate of Merit from the State Bar of Texas at the Annual Meeting in June.  The award is given annually and recognizes a person who goes above and beyond in his/her service to the Bar. 

Bob has been with MehaffyWeber since his graduation in 1980, becoming a shareholder in 1985 and the managing shareholder in 1998.  His practice is concentrated in civil litigation and mediation—an area in which he is a sought after speaker.  Bob successfully defended a multinational corporation in a complex patent infringement case.  He has tried numerous other cases including many personal injury suits.  As a mediator, he has mediated more than 2,900 disputes and has arbitrated many more.
