James G. Martingano represents sophisticated clients involved in complex litigation where results matter. He has been practicing law for over 25 years with a focus on civil litigation including arbitration. He currently spends a majority of his time defending catastrophic injury and loss claims for Fortune 500 clients. He also handles toxic tort cases, specifically the defense of premises and product exposure claims to a variety of allegedly carcinogenic industrial products and chemicals including benzene, butadiene, vinyl chloride, silica, manganese (welding rods), and asbestos.

Mr. Martingano has experience with other types of litigation, including product liability cases involving wrongful death and personal injury. Mr. Martingano has represented clients in environmental nuisance claims as well as mass tort litigation, including medical devices and pharmaceutical litigation. In addition to personal injury claims, Mr. Martingano represents clients as both plaintiff and defendant in complex commercial litigation claims involving contract disputes, oil and gas litigation, subrogation and insurance coverage claims.

He also serves as local counsel for national firms representing major corporations in claims filed in both state and federal courts all over Texas. His clients include ExxonMobil, DuPont, Chemours, and other Fortune 500 companies. He has successfully tried both personal injury and property loss claims to verdict in State and Federal courts all over Texas. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers® for his legal work every year since 2016 and was selected for inclusion in the Texas Super Lawyers List by Thomson Reuters every year since 2008.
