Dale B. McMath is a shareholder at MehaffyWeber based in the firm’s Houston office. With over three decades of legal experience, Dale focuses his practice in civil litigation, personal injury matters, commercial litigation, and toxic tort litigation. His extensive background and deep understanding of complex legal issues make him a highly respected advocate in both the courtroom and the legal community.
Before becoming an attorney, Dale had a successful career in the energy industry, earning a degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology from Oklahoma State Tech. He then worked for six years as an Instrument Technician at Cities Service Oil Company in a fractionation facility. Dale’s technical expertise provided him with a solid foundation for his future legal career, blending technical knowledge with legal strategy in cases involving complex industrial processes and hazardous materials.
After completing his American Jurisprudence degree at University of Houston Clear Lake, Dale earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, he served on the prestigious Law Review, honing his legal writing and analytical skills.
Dale first joined MehaffyWeber in 1991, later leaving to pursue opportunities in Houston. In 2024, he returned to MehaffyWeber, where he continues to focus on personal injury litigation and toxic tort cases. He is a proud member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and has been recognized for his contributions to the legal field.
