Elizabeth O’Connell Perez is an associate in MehaffyWeber’s San Antonio office. She possesses a diverse background with assisting clients in defense litigation-related matters.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication in 2009, Elizabeth attended Texas A&M University where she graduated in 2011 with a Master’s of Science Degree in Secondary Education. While attending graduate school, she worked as a teacher and coach in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 2014, she became a candidate for a Juris Doctor Degree at St. Mary’s University School of Law where she served as the Solicitations Editor for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice. She also served as a student attorney and teaching assistant at the St. Mary’s University Center for Legal and Social Justice, focusing her attention on the pro bono services program at Haven for Hope-Prospect’s Courtyard.
Elizabeth currently defends matters related to labor and employment, construction defect, professional liability, premises liability, insurance defense, and Title IX and Higher Education Law. Elizabeth also works on matters related to entity formation, estate planning and probate. Elizabeth is an active member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and currently serves as the Vice President of the San Antonio region.
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, Greg, daughter, Kate, and their three dogs.
