Fatimah Abdul-Bari joined MehaffyWeber in 2025 as an associate attorney, focusing her practice primarily on commercial litigation and construction law.
Fatimah earned her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 2025. Fatimah began her law school journey at Southern University Law Center, earning a CALI Excellence Award in Torts I and interned at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles in the Office of Administrative Hearings department in Austin, Texas. After transferring to South Texas College of Law, Fatimah interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, participated in two Alternative Dispute Resolution competitions at South Texas College of Law, reaching Quarter Finalist in the ABA Regional Client Counseling Competition, was a speaker in the Dispute Resolution Showcase, was a Treasurer for the Muslim Legal Society, and earned a CALI Excellence Award in Civil Pretrial Advocacy.
Fatimah holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston. Outside of the office, Fatimah enjoys spending time with her loved ones, going to the gym, doing yoga, hiking, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Fatimah was born in Springfield, Ohio, and raised in Galveston, Texas and Houston, Texas.
