Gemma Schmidt is an associate attorney who focuses her practice on healthcare liability, personal injury defense, and workers’ compensation/nonsubscriber defense. She is known for her strong analytical skills, diligent case preparation, and commitment to providing thoughtful, client-focused legal representation.
Gemma earned her J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List and actively engaged in academic and professional development. During law school, she completed a Business Law Certificate, served as a research assistant under Professor Tim Hsieh, and participated in the Federal Bar Association.
While in law school, Gemma gained diverse legal experience through internships and externships, including roles with Palmer Perlstein, the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, and as Corporate Counsel Extern at BancFirst. She later continued her work with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and served as a Fellow at FLEX Partners, further strengthening her litigation and legal strategy skills.
She is licensed to practice law in Texas and is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, and the Association of Lawyers Defending Businesses. Gemma is also involved in the community through The Warren Center.
