With his deep experience resolving a wide variety of litigation matters, John is often called on by courts and other lawyers to serve as a mediator in disputes involving all types of personal injury claims, professional liability, debt controversies and broken real estate and commercial deals. His strength is guiding litigants to a fair compromise in cases with complex fact issues, damages models and causation theories. In 2025, John started arbitrating Texas Non-Subscriber cases for the American Arbitration Association.
John volunteers as a mediator for Dallas County Dispute Resolutions. He is an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Dallas, and he enjoys visiting elderly congregation members who are unable to attend regular church services. He has also served on the board of directors for the Ascension Day School since 2012.
