
Luis Gonzalez joined MehaffyWeber as an associate attorney in March of 2024, focusing his practice on personal injury defense. Luis was born and raised in Pearland, Texas, a suburb south of Houston. Luis grew up speaking both English and Spanish, thanks to his Mexican parents.
Luis attended the University of Houston, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Luis then enrolled at South Texas College of Law in Houston, earning his law degree. While studying, Luis worked at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston. He served as a clerk for Chief Justice, Kem Thompson Frost. As a clerk, Luis drafted memos and edited opinions for various judges. He also conducted legal research in several areas of law.
In his free time, Luis enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors. As a native of Houston, Luis is a loyal fan of all Houston sports teams.
