M.C. Carrington

M.C. Carrington has been a shareholder of MehaffyWeber since 1988 and has been with the firm since 1982. He focuses his practice on toxic torts, products liability, premises liability, premises security, commercial litigation, employment discrimination, and oil and gas matters.

Mr. Carrington graduated with honors from the Texas Tech School of Law in 1982 and joined MehaffyWeber that same year. In his time at the firm, Mr. Carrington has proven to be invaluable to clients. He keeps a very active trial docket, having tried over forty cases to verdict in the past eight years alone. Mr. Carrington has handled a wide variety of defense claims, including the successful defense of a landmark $173 million deepwell case reported in multiple national publications, including the Defense Research Institute’s For The Defense™ and The National Law Journal.

In addition to his depth of expertise, Mr. Carrington is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law, as well as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. His work has earned him recognition from Chambers and Partners® USA Legal Guide (2019-2023), Best Lawyers® (2011-2024), and Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters (2003 – 2023).
