Marcus Wilson is an associate attorney at MehaffyWeber in the Houston office. With a strong foundation in law enforcement and a diverse legal career, Marcus brings unique insights to his work in commercial litigation, personal injury defense, and transportation law.

Before entering the legal field, Marcus served as a police officer with the Houston Police Department, where he worked as both a patrol officer and a plainclothes investigator. His years of hands-on experience in law enforcement equipped him with practical skills and a deep understanding of the criminal justice system, which he now applies to his legal practice.

After earning his B.B.A. in Criminal Justice from University of Texas at San Antonio, Marcus went on to earn his J.D. from Louisiana State University. Following law school, he worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he gained invaluable trial experience handling felonies and misdemeanors. Additionally, Marcus contributed to the General Litigation Division, managing the fugitive docket for Harris County and handling FOIA requests.

At MehaffyWeber, Marcus leverages his extensive legal and law enforcement background to represent clients in a variety of cases, with a focus on personal injury defense, commercial litigation, and transportation law. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Marcus enjoys cooking Southern and Cajun cuisines and spending time with family and friends.
