Omoniyi began his legal career in public service, where he developed a strong foundation in trial advocacy and case strategy. As an Assistant District Attorney with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, he prosecuted cases and gained significant experience managing matters through all stages of litigation. He later served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Arlington, expanding his experience representing governmental interests and navigating the legal and practical considerations involved in public-sector matters.
After transitioning to private practice, Omoniyi focused his work on civil defense litigation. His background as a former prosecutor and municipal attorney shapes the way he approaches the defense of transportation matters today. He understands the importance of evaluating a case early, identifying the issues most likely to drive its outcome, and developing a strategy grounded in both the facts and his client’s broader objectives.

Omoniyi earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where he served as Senior Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Kansas Wesleyan University, where he was a student-athlete and member of the football team.
Omoniyi is admitted to practice in Texas and before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the J.L. Turner Legal Association, and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.
